Built on a user-friendly Internet-based interface, the simulation provides flexibilities for participants to access and work with team members from remote locations. Both face-to-face virtual and off-line meetings can be implemented. This feature truly mimics today’s digitalized real-world business environment. The instantaneous projected feedback on decision input helps stimulate critical and analytical thinking that spurs team discussions.

GlobalDNA is appropriate for courses in international business, international marketing, international strategic management, and global strategy. Courses can be classroom-based or Internet-based, or a mixture of both.



GlobalDNA provides a platform for participants/students to expose themselves to diverse complexities and challenges of operating in international environments. 

With the simulated environment that replicates real-world complexities, participants/students are engaged in hands-on decision-making experiences, planning and setting objectives, learn to prioritize and allocate limited resources across geographic regions and business functions, and learn to adjust short- and long-term strategies as the industry evolves under a dynamic and competitive environment. The applications of different business tools and frameworks will enable participants/students to make sound decisions that are aligned with their stipulated business objectives.

GlobalDNA serves as an ideal tool that enhances both strategic critical and analytical thinking and tactical implementation. The duration of a course may range of an intensive 2-3 days to 10-15 weeks.  We can facilitate the customization of workshops and classes to fit different corporate/learning objectives.

I have participated in CAPSIM Foundation Simulation two times. The first one was as a group project with my classmates during my MBA course and our team was the best-performing team among all teams. The second one was as an individual competitor in the 2016 Spring CAPSIM Simulation Challenge, of which I was ranked 21st with Balanced Scorecard score of 871. The simulation was an exciting and interesting challenge for me and I got so many experiences. It does not only gave me an experience for the whole business with a bird-eye view, but also made me balance a company with different important sections.
